Executive Coaching

Leaders face unique situations that challenge their interaction with senior management and board members. These leaders often have no one to turn to with whom they can counsel and brainstorm. The executive coach fills that void.

Leaders may be shortsighted by only turning to a spouse, trusted friends or business colleagues in other fields to discuss pertinent organisational challenges. In doing so, a leader can risk misunderstandings, information leaks, or blanket agreement with his/her view that can result in non-productive feedback and action. A Note From Our Founder

Hi, I’m Peter Hanna.


I'm a husband, father of 4, business owner, board member, mentor, certified master coach and trainer, as well as a qualified engineer.


After 20 years of corporate experience at senior management levels experiencing the highs and lows, plus incredible lessons from building my own business… I found myself at a crossroads. I was working hard towards building a life that from the outside appeared to deliver all the trappings of success.. promotions, high salary, material success, but I still felt like something was missing.


I began a journey of deep discovery to learn more about how humans think, feel and act. I’m keenly interested in why we do the things we do. What drives our motivations, our behaviours, and the impact that language (our self-talk) has on us.


After spending years and investing tens of thousands of dollars in my own development and learning, I am now a qualified Master Coach and Trainer and help senior and executive level professionals to live a better holistic life.


I believe that there is no ‘work you’ and ‘real you', the person that comes out on the weekends. There is just you everywhere. And it's my mission to help you live a better life which in turn means a better life for your family, friends, and co-workers.

Meet Peter

Founder and Principal Executive Coach

My personal drive is to support leaders to improve their impact and results by developing themselves first, and I founded Hanna Consulting for this reason.


I coach and train leaders with a holistic focus on performance and wellbeing.


I've helped executives and ambitious senior professionals at AWS, Eftpos Australia, Acciona Australia, Flinders University, PACCOA, Equinix, Earthworx, ANZ Bank and more with their own self development (both personal and professional) and am humbled with NPS scores over 90%.


I've also delivered leadership training for audiences with over 50 attendees achieving NPS scores over 85% and guest lectured at universities including Flinders and UTS for both staff and students.


I’ve enjoyed almost 20 years of experience in the corporate sector with highlights such as leading a national technical sales team for an organisation of $5B market cap, delivering deals for accounts worth $50M per annum, and purchasing and negotiating on behalf of a fast growing start up supporting some of the largest government and enterprise customers in Australia.


I’ve been the buyer, the seller, and the leader.


I’ve seen how different priorities across different parts of a business shape its leadership style and the effect that has between different parts of the organisation.


More recently I have developed my own knowledge and understanding by learning about the human psyche and the way in which human behaviour and communication reveals what’s going on beneath the surface.


I combine this with my consulting background to help leaders resolve matters related to personal challenges (stress, overwhelm, burnout, anxiety), interpersonal challenges, and the buy-sell relationship.


With my specialised skills and experience in human communication and behaviour I can help you to increase your leadership presence and move forward faster.
